Tornado Mini Metal Sign
The Tornado aircraft family was a triumph in multinational collaboration, with input from Italy, the UK and Western Germany. It’s first flight took place on 14th August 1974 and introduced into service a short 5 years later in 1979. The Tornado design is particularly of interest to Aircraft Enthusiasts due to the Variable Sweep design of the wings, purpose built for low-altitude strike missions.
The Tornado was been put into operation by the RAF, IAF and RSAF during the Gulf War (1991). Additionally its variants were operational during the Bosnian, Kosovo, Iraq and Libyan Wars. And noted to some lesser degree in Afghanistan, Yemen and Syria.
