A little history…
The Red Arrows are the RAFs very own air-acrobatics team based in RAF Scampton. Loved nationwide the Red Arrows team appears globally at Air Shows and events much to the delight of audiences across the world and have performed over 4,800 displays in 57 countries worldwide.
In modern times the Red Arrow team is comprised of 9 pilots operating BAE Hawk Trainer planes; a significant upgrade from the Folland Gnat of previous years. The badge of the Arrows shows their trademark 9 point formation known as the Eclat (“Excellence”).
