About Father’s Day

Father’s Day celebrates Fatherhood and is known to date back to at least 1508 in Catholic Europe. Initially celebrated on March 19th, American Sonara Smart Dodd petitioned to change it to the 3rd Sunday in June in 1910. 

In the UK we celebrate on this day each year and use Father’s Day as a way to honour the important role Dads play in our lives.
